My desire for a career in Artificial Intelligence and Computer Security has grown significantly over the years. AI has turned into a key technology in today's world. From the creation of self-driving cars to engineering “real” artificially intelligent and self-aware machines, I believe it is extremely important to look at the intersection where AI meets Computer Security. By exploring these topics, I’ve become very interested in AI+SEC, which is a newly emerging and exciting field. Despite its importance, not much research has been done in this field. Additionally, there are only a handful of professors and researchers that specialize in both AI and Security. I aim to pursue a PhD in AI and Security, which is a niche I hope to focus on and expand for the future.

Admission to NODET schools is selective and based on a comprehensive nationwide entrance examination procedure. Every year thousands of students apply to enter the schools, from which less than 1% are chosen from the 99 middle schools and 98 high schools within the country. If a student is accepted (s)he will be re-evaluated throughout his/her studies, to ensure (s)he is still qualified to pursue his/her studies further at NODET. Each entrance exam includes two tests devised to measure intelligence and talent of the participants as well as their acquired knowledge.
